A Montessori-based Preschool in Spanish

Established in 2006, El Pequeno Artista was the first children's bilingual arts center of its kind in New York. In the past four years, we have successfully worked with children of different ages, immersing them in the Spanish language within a diversity of disciplines.

In 2009, we incorporated the various elements of our school and created a Spanish immersion program for preschool aged children, using Montessori methods and materials. We are again the pioneers in the market: El Pequeno Artista is the first Montessori-based Preschool in Spanish in NYC!

We continue to work with the individual attention that characterizes us, in small groups and with exceptional quality to our classes. Four years in the market have given us the experience and seal of approval from parents and the community.

Our program utilizes Montessori techniques and equipment, promotes independence and supports individual and group learning. Following a mixed-aged model, young children learn from older ones, and older children reinforce their learning by helping the younger group.

Our modern, vibrant and sun-drenched studio is the ideal space for your children to soak up a new language and use hands-on, stimulating techniques as they learn.

We offer two, three and five half-days programs (morning or afternoon).
